PVP chassis model 2011
Below on this page can you see photo and all the details
The chassis have part number 1005
The 2011 chassis have now 2 bearing on the rear axle, that save 1,1 kg. of weight compare with3 bearing
On the new 2011 PVP chassis can you adjust the height over the ground on the front and the rear end of the kart, the highest positions is the same as chassis from 1996 to 2008, and you can now adjust it 12 mm. down in 3 mm. steps, the connection between the caliper and the house to rear axle bearing, make sure you always have the correct distance between the caliper and the brake disk, then you change the riding height.
You can not use this system on PVP kart from 2005 and older, there is not spaces under the chain adjuster and the bracket on the old kart is 6 mm. lover than on the new model 2011.
Bracket to the wing left hand side is part number 1291
Bracket to the wing right hand side is part number 1292
Here can you see the step for height adjustment, the part number for the alum. house is 3058
Part number for this bracket is 1595
You have to make new hole in the inside plate for the wing,
If the kart is from 1996 to 2005 then do you have to drill the hole 50 mm. longer back and 10 mm. lower.
If the kart is from 2006 to 2008 then do you have to drill the hole 30 mm. longer back and 10 mm. lower.
On PVP chassis model 2011 can you also adjust front end height over the ground with 12 mm. on the photo below can you see the highest riding positions, and if you move washer from the top to the bottom (eats washer is 1.5 mm. so there is 8 washer) will you lover the front end of the chassis without change the camber and caster angel, but you have to adjust the tow in, You will get a almost correct adjustment if you turn one of the rod end R/H type, one round in for eats 3 mm. you lover the front end of the kart.
Importen: always have the front end minimum 4 mm. lower than the rear,( if you measure under the floor tray), if the front end is to high, will you lose the ground effect, and lose the grip in the track.
O the photo below can you see the loves position, I will recommend if you drive on Dunlop tires to lover front and rear the same, Bridgestone front tires is smaller in diameter and you need to adjust the front so it will fit to this.
Chassis 1006 is made for Single cylinder motor and Yamaha TZ
